New Psychotherapy service from Emma Stockford

Overall health and wellbeing are a major part of the ethos and range of services offered through Life Made Simple in Wonersh, Guildford and Surrey. Expanding this service sees Emma Stockford, Psychotherapist, join our team as we move to our new premises and expand our overall healthcare offering. Welcome Emma!

The new psychotherapy service and the benefits that this can bring are detailed below, however, please do speak to Emma directly about your needs and requirements.

Mental and emotional health play such a significant role in our overall wellbeing, relationships and quality of life, and therapy can offer a valuable space to explore the challenges we all face at different points in our lives.

 About Emma and her service

I’m Emma, a psychotherapist based in Guildford and now Wonersh, working with adults both in person and online. I support people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, and feelings of being stuck or held back in life.

My approach is warm, caring, consistent and of course confidential. I believe that when people are offered a trusting, non-judgemental relationship, they are often able to make sense of difficult experiences and find new ways of moving forward. As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the needs of each client. I see therapy as a collaborative process, during which clients are supported to explore their experiences, gain greater self-understanding and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life, even if there are times when it may not feel that way. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you, helping you to understand yourself more deeply and find your own way forward. I know that starting therapy can feel daunting, and I aim to create a space where you feel welcomed, accepted and able to be yourself.

Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I also offer supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors, providing a supportive and reflective space for professional growth and development.

Whether you are considering therapy for the first time or returning to it after a break, I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
